New front hub for my WLA
Just a brief status update.. the front wheel is in pieces.. I ended up buying a new front hub.. I decided to go for the one with Timken style replacable bearings.. Looks a bit shiny, but I’ll give it some rattle can olive drab later.. Also got new spokes for the front. I am keeping the Russian style 19 inch wheels, just putting on some new Avon tires.
Other new parts; I bought parkerized WLA passenger footrests to go with the buddy seat I have. Will still have to see if I need other things for the front wheel/brakes, I should have everything but once we start putting the front wheel back together I’m sure something comes up, always does..
Still considerign selling the WLA, but perhaps it would make sence the get the bike registered first and then see about the selling thing.

I’m in the middle of a 42WLA Type VII restoration myself. I’m looking for a few parts, can you help?
Leather luggage (Rear)
Leather gun scabbord
Rear luggage rack
1945 Type VII wiring harness
Blackout tail light left
Air cleaner box
Headlight/Horn bracket
Horn
E8 Engine and Transmission overhaul manual
Any help you can lend is appreciated.
thanks,
Darin
